Dear Bhau,
Today is your 20th death anniversary by theethi so I am writing this blog today!
On 6th Aug we were in Copenhagen visiting Sidd & Geena.
I was remembering all the details of that unfortunate day when you left us. I believe, this year Pune had heavy showers just like 20 years ago.
The flight from Singapore to Mumbai , the taxi ride from Mumbai to Pune in heavy rains with Vibhav & Sidd, rushing to Ruby hospital to see you and Aai and Shubhada tai - waiting for news from the doctors, waiting for Shai tai & Shammu to reach from Melbourne and then the final goodbye with all of us around you- it was an uncanny experience and it still gives me goosebumps !
Memories just flash back ! You waited for all of us for the final goodbye !!
Whenever I sing this manache shlok -it has a special meaning!

• Mana chandanache pari twam jhijawe: Just like a piece of sandalwood, you should wear yourself out (suffer or sacrifice yourself) for the well-being of others.
• Pari antari sajajana niwvave: Yet, through your selflessness, bring deep peace, coolness, and joy to the hearts of good people
We remember you in so many ways.
Your enthusiasm and zest for life was so infectious. Specially feel that during the festive season. Celebrations with family and friends - getting everyone together, organizing, decorating, food, music!
We used to have so much fun with family & friends together. That was the beauty of our childhood. We have learnt all the skills too.
Keep showering your blessings on all of us and help us recognize and achieve our respective purpose in life!

20 years today since dearest Bhau left us!
In reality miss his physical presence but he is always there for me 😇 🙏
He would have loved 🥰 seeing all his grandchildren happy and prospering and would have adored his great grandchildren and spoilt them to the core 🤗 He was always very proud of all his daughters and loved our Aai passionately.
Bhau, be there for me eternally and thank you for everything you did for me 🙏🙏❤️

20 years have passed can’t believe . Dear Bhau is missed every single day every moment. After reading Shruti s tribute my heart feels heavy remembering the day when Bhau left us .l was just thinking about Bhau how much he means to me . My life is immensely around him & you all . He is always there to look after all of us 🙏
